"I really enjoyed the whole process of being interviewed by Kay. I remembered things I had totally forgotten about and reminisced about my life, the good times and the bad. I wrote a book called No Known Grave about my brother, Ken, a navigator in WWII, who went on a raid over Germany and never came back. In Maynard in Arms, Kay beautifully captures my life story, which covers the parts that were not included in my first book. I would highly recommend this service to anyone wanting to pass on their memories to their loved one."

Everyone has a story
to tell.
What would your life story be called?
Memories to Memoirs is a writing service that will help and support you to tell your story. Statistics show that 83% of people talk about writing a book, 10% start the process and only 1% complete. We all have such interesting stories to tell, but it can be hard for us to start the process of writing them down, then editing, let alone getting it through the publishing state. Memories to Memoirs will help you reach that goal and make that 1%.
I was recently interviewed by the lovely Stuart and David from S41 radio about my trilogy of books, Memories to Memoirs and how important storytelling is, which I hope will you give you a better insight into who I am, and my passion for writing.
83% talk about writing a book, 10% start & only 1% finish. Be that 1%!
Team
We can support you to write your own memoir and guide you through the process of publishing.
Kay Rose-Hattrick
Editor & Publisher
I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Science and after a gap year travelling around the world I settled in London and worked for Edexcel (BTEC & London Examinations) in corporate marketing and then MIND (the mental health charity) where I organised specialist mental health training.
After moving back home to Sheffield, I began working for SE Sheffield PCT and latterly NHS Sheffield following the merger of all four Primary Care Trusts. As Communications Manager I covered all aspects of communicating to patients and staff. I was the editor and principal writer of the of the internal newsletter with a readership of over 2,000 NHS staff. I managed, developed, and produced the staff intranet, all staff and corporate videos, monthly team briefs, staff awards program, weekly blogs, communication surveys, annual reports and I was the sole press officer for SE Sheffield PCT.
Following the publication of Becoming Me (2014) and Becoming Free (2015), I decided to focus on fiction writing, so I enrolled on a creative writing course which covered all aspects of characterization, narrative structure, plotting and effective dialogue and started writing my first fiction novel called The Seeds of Life, a collection of seven short stories. I am also a Reiki Master and qualified in Indian head massage, but my greatest passion is writing.
